Amavas is directed by Bhushan Patel Patel, who is known for making horror films like Ragini MMS 2, Alone and 1920 Evil Returns. The film is set to hit the screens on 11 January 2019 along with URI: The Surgical Strike starring Vicky Kaushal and Paresh Rawal.
