Our cinema had always been presenting stories based on extramarital affairs with intriguing dimensions and layers to it. But ‘Parastree’ based on the similar subject of love, lust and extramarital affairs; is such a hard hitting and captivating film that it will make the audiences think hard about the outfalls of such relationships.
Jointly produced by India and Nepal, ‘Parastree’ focusses on the complications of human relationships, the dangerous outfalls of extramarital affairs, the deadly cocktail of love and lust. In Parastree, all these elements of the film has been presented in a never seen before style. The twists and drama in the film shocks the viewers at regular intervals.
The film has been produced by Sharmila Pandey and Pushapraj T. Neupane under the banner of DS Digital and Nendi Creations while the sensitive topic of the film has been ably handled by director Suraj Pandey.
The director of the film Suraj Pandey had made sure that the film doesn’t bore you at any point in the film. From brilliant direction to cinematography, editing, music, dialogues, screenplay to production values, everything about the film is in sync with tone of the movie which has been presented in a larger than life fashion.
Simultaneously released in Hindi and Nepali, the performances of all artists are top-notch. Shilpa Maskey, Koshish Chhetri and Gaurav Bisht with their powerful performances elevates the film to a different level altogether.
The film had been shot beautiful locations of Nepal. The thriller and suspense aspect of ‘Parastree’ is so intrihuting that it will be difficult for viewers to forget the film so easily.
