According to Sacnilk figures cited in the latest box office report, Resident Evil earned around ₹3.20 crore on Day 2 in India. The film registered an overall occupancy of approximately 19.2% across 4,310 shows.

With this second-day collection added to its opening-day earnings, the movie has taken its total India net collection to around ₹5.80 crore.

The second day proved stronger for Resident Evil compared with its opening day. The film collected ₹3.20 crore on Saturday, while its first-day India net collection stood at around ₹2.60 crore.

The jump in business indicates that the movie benefited from the weekend audience. The film recorded 19.2% overall occupancy on Day 2, compared with approximately 14.9% on the opening day.

The night shows witnessed the highest occupancy, reflecting stronger audience turnout later in the day.

English Version Leads the Collection

The English version of Resident Evil contributed the biggest share of the Day 2 earnings. It earned around ₹2.25 crore in India.

The Hindi version collected approximately ₹65 lakh, while the Tamil version added around ₹20 lakh. The Telugu version contributed another ₹10 lakh.

The language-wise performance shows that the English version remains the major contributor to the film’s Indian box office business.

After two days, Resident Evil has collected approximately ₹5.80 crore in India in net earnings. Its reported India gross collection has reached around ₹6.93 crore.
