Mirzapur The Movie continued to maintain momentum at the box office during its third weekend. According to reported box-office figures, the Pankaj Tripathi-led film earned ₹5 crore net in India on Day 17, which fell on Sunday, September 20. The latest figure marked an 11.1% increase over the ₹4.50 crore collected on its third Saturday.
With the Day 17 earnings added, the film's India net collection reached ₹215.70 crore. Its India gross stood at ₹256.84 crore, while the worldwide gross collection climbed to ₹308.84 crore. These figures include the film's overseas earnings as well.
Third Weekend Shows Consistent Growth
The third weekend proved encouraging for Mirzapur The Movie, with collections increasing on each successive day.
The film earned ₹2.75 crore on its third Friday, followed by ₹4.50 crore on Saturday. On Sunday, the collection rose further to ₹5 crore. This meant the movie registered growth across all three days of its third weekend.
The Day 17 figure came from 4,402 shows across India, with overall reported occupancy of around 26%. The Sunday collection was also higher than the film's earnings on both Friday and Saturday.
Mirzapur The Movie Crosses ₹215 Crore in India
After completing 17 days in cinemas, Mirzapur The Movie has accumulated ₹215.70 crore in India net collections. The film had collected ₹148.45 crore during its opening week, while the second week added another ₹55 crore.
The third week began with a comparatively lower collection, but the movie picked up pace over the weekend. Its third Friday collection stood at ₹2.75 crore before rising to ₹4.50 crore on Saturday and ₹5 crore on Sunday.
The latest numbers indicate that the film continues to attract audiences even in its third week of theatrical release.
Worldwide Collection Reaches ₹308.84 Crore
The overseas market has also contributed significantly to Mirzapur The Movie's overall box-office performance. On Day 17, the film reportedly earned ₹0.75 crore from overseas markets, taking its cumulative overseas gross to ₹52 crore.
With an India gross of ₹256.84 crore and overseas gross of ₹52 crore, the film's worldwide gross has reached ₹308.84 crore after 17 days.
The film has therefore crossed the ₹300 crore worldwide milestone during its theatrical run.
Hindi Shows Record Stronger Evening Occupancy
The Hindi 2D version of Mirzapur The Movie recorded overall occupancy of 32.80% on Day 17. Morning shows registered 13.08% occupancy, while afternoon screenings recorded 40.31%.
Evening shows performed particularly well, registering 43.62% occupancy, while night shows recorded 28.31%. The figures indicate that audience turnout was stronger during the afternoon and evening screenings.
Star-Studded Cast Continues the Mirzapur Story
Mirzapur The Movie brings several familiar faces from the popular crime-drama universe to the big screen. The cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar and Ravi Kishan.
Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the film expands the Mirzapur story into a theatrical format, focusing on the continuing battle for control of the city. Old rivalries and new threats drive the conflict as multiple characters compete for power.
With the worldwide gross now at ₹308.84 crore after 17 days, the film enters the next phase of its theatrical run with audiences continuing to contribute to its box-office total.
