Kalank First Day Box Office Collection: Kalank has broken several records on its opening day itself. The Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer earned Rs 21.60 crore on the first day at the box office, which is the highest Day 1 collection of 2019. Kalank has also become the biggest Varun Dhawan's opener as the film beats Dilwale's opening day collection, which was 21 crores.
The film also the highest opener for Varun and Alia's pair, as their last flick Badrinath Ki Dulhania earned 12.25 crores on the first day.
Dharma Production confirmed that the film earned Rs 21.6 crore on Wednesday.
Kalank mostly received negative reviews from critics. Taran Adarsh gives two stars to the film and called it “DISAPPOINTING.” The film was criticized for its length and music.
Helmed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Madhuri Dixit in the lead roles along with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.
