Gold Movie Second Day Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar starrer sports drama film Gold witnessed a solid drop on Day 2. The film collected 8.00 crores on the second day at the domestic box office. Akshay Kumar starrer film now stands at 33.25 crores at the box office. Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to update Gold movie second day box office collection. He wrote, "Gold witnessed a decline on Thu. Biz should gain momentum from today onwards. Plexes hold the key. Wed 25.25 cr, Thu 8 cr. Total: 33.25 cr. India biz." Gold released along with John Abraham starrer Satyamev Jayate. Despite the clash with Satyamev Jayate, the film collected 25.25 crores on its opening day, which was Akshay Kumar's career-best opening film. Gold stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role along with Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh, Sunny Kaushal, Kunal Kapoor and Vineet Kumar Singh. The film helmed by Reema Kagati and produced by Excel Entrainment.
