Actress Somy Ali recently took to her Instagram to share a video where she accused singer Sonu Nigam of betraying her trust. Though she didn’t directly mention his name in the video, she tagged him in the caption, expressing her disappointment and frustration. Somy, who was once linked to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, revealed that she had immense respect for Sonu but never expected him to treat her this way.

In the video, Somy explained, "A few years ago, I started a talk show where I interviewed a few people. One of the guests on my show was a man who spoke with great wisdom. He appeared on my show at a time when we had no budget, and that earned him a lot of my respect."
"I Never Thought He Would Do This to Me"
Somy further revealed that when she tried to approach him regarding a project in London, he ignored her. "I couldn’t believe someone could do this. I trusted him, and he broke that trust," she said. Somy also claimed that the person appeared on her chat show because he had a connection with someone in Mumbai and wanted to prove something to another individual, saying, “I appeared on your ex-girlfriend’s show.”
Somy Ali Slams Sonu Nigam
In the video caption, Somy tagged Sonu Nigam, expressing her anger and disappointment. She wrote, "This is how people are, and this is how they take advantage of you. Sonu Nigam makes videos about those who wronged him, but now, I am shocked. I had immense respect for him. But as they say, never judge a book by its cover. Believe me, I have been betrayed in ways I couldn’t even imagine."
Accuses Sonu Nigam of Betrayal
Somy continued in her post, "It’s hard for me to believe that the person who did this to me is Sonu Nigam. Be careful. I still love his songs, but I never expected him to stoop this low."
