Nani is gearing up for the theatrical release of his much-awaited film The Paradise, but before the movie reaches audiences, the actor has made a special request regarding its premiere. Nani has asked the Telangana government for permission to visit a theatre at Hyderabad’s RTC X Roads and watch the film along with regular moviegoers.
The actor made the request through a post on X, addressing Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and the Telangana Police. Nani explained that watching films alongside audiences has always held a special place for him and that he wanted to experience the response to The Paradise together with the people for whom the film was made.
Nani Calls It A Request From A Cinema Fan
In his message, Nani described himself not just as an actor but as a lifelong fan of cinema. He said that watching movies with people who love films as much as he does has always been special to him.
The actor specifically expressed his wish to attend the The Paradise premiere at RTC X Roads. According to Nani, the area has a special place in Hyderabad’s cinema culture, making it meaningful for him to experience his film there with the audience.
Nani also said that the ultimate satisfaction of making a movie comes from sitting among viewers and experiencing their immediate reactions. He assured the authorities that all necessary safety protocols and guidelines would be followed.
Revanth Reddy Responds To Nani’s Request
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy responded to Nani’s request on social media. The Chief Minister appreciated the actor’s respect for safety guidelines and his commitment to The Paradise, which has been directed by Telangana filmmaker Srikanth Odela.
However, Reddy did not directly grant permission for Nani to attend the premiere. Instead, he asked the film team to submit an official application to the designated local police station.
The Chief Minister said that the concerned authorities would examine the situation, including crowd management and public safety, before taking a decision. This means Nani’s appearance at the theatre would depend on the assessment and approval of the police authorities.
Ganesh Immersion Adds To Security Concerns
The request comes at a time when Hyderabad is witnessing heightened security arrangements because of Ganesh immersion festivities. With large numbers of people expected to gather at different locations, the police are already focused on crowd control, traffic management and public safety.
The proposed The Paradise premiere at RTC X Roads would potentially attract a large number of Nani’s fans. As a result, authorities need to assess whether sufficient police deployment and crowd-management arrangements can be made for the actor’s visit.

Nani’s request has also drawn attention because of the tragic stampede at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule in December 2024. A 35-year-old woman, Revathi, died during the incident, while her young son was seriously injured.
The incident occurred after actor Allu Arjun appeared at the theatre during the premiere. The case subsequently led to legal proceedings involving the actor, theatre management and security personnel.
Sandhya Theatre is also located in the RTC X Roads area. Because of this history, Nani’s request to attend a public premiere at the same major cinema hub has brought renewed attention to the importance of security and crowd management at celebrity appearances.
Nani Says Safety Will Remain The Priority
After Chief Minister Revanth Reddy asked him to approach the local police, Nani responded by acknowledging the importance of public safety. He said that he understood the concerns, particularly because the premiere coincided with Ganesh immersion arrangements.
Nani further indicated that he would respect the final decision of the police department. He also stated that he would not want to create an additional burden for the police or cause inconvenience during the ongoing arrangements.
The actor made it clear that if authorities felt there were complications from a safety or crowd-management perspective, he would understand the decision and be willing to skip the theatre visit.
The Paradise Set For September 24 Release
Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise is scheduled for theatrical release on September 24, 2026. The film reunites Nani with Odela after their earlier collaboration Dasara.
The upcoming movie is described as a period action drama set against the backdrop of 1980s Secunderabad. Nani plays the central character, Jadal, whose story is connected to a marginalised community facing social discrimination and a lack of fundamental rights.
The cast also includes Raghav Juyal, Sonali Kulkarni, Mohan Babu and Kayadu Lohar. Raghav Juyal is making his Telugu film debut with the project and plays the chief antagonist.
Special Premiere Already Approved
Ahead of the official release, The Paradise has also received approval for a special screening in Telangana. The state government approved a special show on September 23, one day before the film’s scheduled theatrical release.
Ticket prices for the film were also revised for a limited period following government approval. The special screening and price arrangements were announced as part of the film’s release plans in Telangana.
Will Nani Watch The Paradise With The Audience?
For now, Nani’s visit to the RTC X Roads theatre depends on the police assessment and final permission. The actor has expressed his willingness to follow the authorities’ decision and has prioritised safety arrangements over his personal wish to watch the movie with fans.
As The Paradise reaches theatres on September 24, attention will remain on both the film’s release and whether Nani eventually gets the opportunity to experience it alongside the audience in Hyderabad.
