Bollywood News: Malayalam cinema’s blockbuster Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is all set to make its digital debut after an impressive theatrical run. Starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, the Girish A.D.-directed romantic comedy will start streaming on JioHotstar from October 2, 2026. The film originally arrived in cinemas on August 21 during the Onam season.

The wait for the OTT release of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is now over. JioHotstar has officially confirmed that the film will premiere on its platform on October 2.
The digital release comes around six weeks after the movie’s theatrical debut. The film will be available across multiple languages, including Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, allowing it to reach audiences beyond its original Malayalam market.
Nivin Pauly And Mamitha Baiju Lead The Film
Bethlehem Kudumba Unit features Nivin Pauly as Justin and Mamitha Baiju as Ashley. The story revolves around the relationship between the two characters and the people surrounding them.
Ashley moves with her family to a new neighbourhood, where she meets Justin, an older neighbour whose life is already shaped by his own family and responsibilities. Their relationship develops against the backdrop of family connections, friendships and neighbourhood dynamics.

The film is directed by Girish A.D., who has previously delivered films including Thanneer Mathan Dinangal, Super Sharanya, Premalu and I Am Kathalan.
The screenplay for Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has been written by Girish A.D. and Kiran Josey. The technical team includes cinematographer Ajmal Sabu, editor Akash Joseph Varghese and music composer Vishnu Vijay.

The film reportedly crossed the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide, with some recent reports putting its worldwide gross at more than Rs 325 crore. It has also been reported as the highest-grossing Malayalam film, although reported collection figures vary slightly between trade sources.
The movie also achieved a major milestone in Kerala, reportedly crossing the Rs 150 crore gross mark from the state alone.
