Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif, takes an average opening on Day 1 (Friday) at the box office. Zero collected 20.14 crores on Friday (Day 1) at the domestic box office. The first Friday box office collection of Zero is less than Akshay Kumar's Gold (25.25) & Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 2 (25.10)
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh reveals Zero Movie First Day Box Office Collection on the micro-blogging website. He wrote, "#Zero has underperformed on Day 1, despite extensive release [4380 screens] + #Christmas vacations… Sat and Sun biz extremely crucial… Fri ₹ 20.14 cr. India biz."

The film made at the budget of around 200 crores and released approx 4380 screens in India. Starring Katrina and Anushka Shama in lead role opposite Sha Rukh Khan, the film helmed by Anand L Rai.
