With huge 75.06 crores in the opening weekend, Simmba is Ranveer Singh’s second highest opening weekend grosser. The film fails to surpass his past release Padmaavat’s opening weekend box office collection.
Rohit Shetty’s film revolves the story of Simmba (played by Ranveer Singh) who is a corrupt police officer. Soon an incident happens in his life which changes Simmba and transfers him to an honest office.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba produced by Karan Johar, and it stars Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood along with Ranveer Singh. The film also marks the cameo appearances of Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and the Golmaal team. Simmba is the officially Hindi remake of Temper.
