Karan Johar, Shashank Khaitan, and Varun Dhawan are collaborating on the third movie titled Rannbhoomi. The film scheduled to release on Diwali 2020. The female lead has not yet been decided. Karan Johar took to Twitter to share the announcement.
The trio earlier worked in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, which is rom-com movies. However, this time, the trio joined hands for a hardcore action-drama film. It will be a first solo action film of Varun career.
Talking about the Rannbhoomi, Shashank Said: “Rannbhoomi is a warrior film, which showcases love, relationships, sacrifices, revenge, and heroism. I remember, I began developing it in December 2015 and shared the idea with Varun, who got excited about it. Now, Karan has given us the wings to fly, and we are excited to turn this dream into a reality.”
Currently, Varun Dhawan is shooting for YRF’s next Sui Dhaaga. Recently, he completed October movie shooting, which is directed by Shoojit Sircar.
