Rani Mukerji has launched a commemorative postage stamp in honor of the legendary filmmaker, the late Yash Chopra, at the Australian Parliament House just before the 15th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2024. Expressing her joy and excitement, Rani shared that she feels truly honored to be part of such a significant occasion.

On August 13, ahead of the 15th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2024, a grand ceremony was held at the Australian Parliament House. During this event, Rani Mukerji unveiled a commemorative stamp in memory of the iconic filmmaker Yash Chopra.

Rani Mukerji expressed her gratitude and enthusiasm, stating that she feels privileged to be part of this monumental event.

This special event, held before the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, also saw the presence of Karan Johar, who captivated the audience with his speech at the Parliament. Yash Chopra was the inaugural patron of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). The festival is set to begin on August 15 and will continue until August 25.
