The film turned out to be a huge success, and the chemistry between Madhoo and Ajay was loved by the audience. Prior to her Bollywood debut, Madhoo made her acting debut with the Tamil movie Azhagaan. She also appeared in the blockbuster film Gentleman.

As a self-proclaimed ardent fan of the superstar, Madhoo added that even if Shahrukh’s films face box office failures or he performs poorly in a particular movie, he still remains an icon in the eyes of his fans, just like a godly figure.

Making her Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgan in the 1991 blockbuster hit “Phool Aur Kaante,” Madhoo’s popularity skyrocketed. Her performance in Mani Ratnam’s 1992 movie “Roja” garnered her further acclaim. With a career spanning across different film industries, Madhoo has showcased her acting prowess in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada movies.
The actress known as Madhoo was born with the name Padma Malini, and at 54 years old, she is the niece of Hema Malini and cousin of Isha Deol. Madhoo recently portrayed the character of Menaka in the movie Shakuntalam, which was released not too long ago.
