The Makers of Padman released another new poster of the film. In this latest one, Radhika Apte who plays the character of Akshay’s wife in the movie posing with Pad in Hand with Akshay. The film set to hit screens release on 26th January next month. Padman is based on the life of a person named Arunachalam Murugananda, Arunachalam made sanitary napkins at low prices for women and thus carried out a revolutionary move.

Padman film is the first film of the production house of Twinkle Khanna. This will be the first time when Akshay and twinkle come together for the film. Sources reveal that Twinkle Khanna had written ten chapters of her novel after Mrs. Funnybones.
When she was researching for his column, he came to know about the story of Arunachalam. He left his novel and started working on the sanitary man’s story. Twinkle Khanna wanted to make a short film about it, but Akshay and R.Balki decided to make it a big movie.
On Work Front, Next year Akshay Kumar features along with Rajinikanth in 2.0. 2.0 release on 27th April 2018.
