Sreerama Chandra, A Musical Maestro's Journey from Playback Singing to Bollywood Stardom and Beyond

His dedication to music took him to Shri Bhakta Ramadasa Music College in Secunderabad, where he honed his skills under the guidance of the renowned Bhaskar Haripriya. Venturing into playback singing at a young age, Sreerama Chandra released his first Hindi album, "Rahnuma," in 2010. This marked the beginning of a prolific career, with notable songs like "Subhanallah," "Balma," and "Allah Duhai," which solidified his place in the competitive music industry. The victory in Indian Idol 2010 further catapulted him into the spotlight. Acknowledging the influence of his gurus, Laita Mam and Haripriya Mam, the Hyderabad Sisters in Carnatic music, and the legendary Ustad Ghulam Mustaffa Khan Sahab in Hindustani music, Sreerama Chandra continued to evolve as an artist. In 2021, Sreerama Chandra took on a new challenge by participating in the reality TV show "Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5," where he secured the position of the first runner-up. Undeterred by boundaries, he continues to make significant strides in Bollywood. His commitment to innovation and exploration led him to the dance floor of the reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa," where he has been wowing audiences with his dazzling footwork, showcasing a new facet of his artistic prowess. Adding another feather to his cap, Sreerama Chandra is set to make his acting debut in a web series scheduled for release on September 29. The singer has also ventured into hosting television and OTT shows, demonstrating his versatility in the entertainment industry.
