In a glittering ceremony held at the Vivanta By Taj Hotel, Tasneem Riyaz was crowned Mrs India Planet 2023 in the Classic category (40 years and above). This significant win adds to her list of accolades, which also includes the titles of Mrs India Planet Classic Dubai and Mrs India Planet Classic Phenomenal. Beyond her national recognition, Tasneem was also honored with the inaugural title of Mrs World Queen, an international platform unveiled in New Delhi. Professionally, Tasneem Riyaz is a PR and communications consultant who’s lived in Dubai, UAE for nearly two decades.
Now celebrating its third season, the pageant was a grand endeavor by Gleamdiva, India’s premier institute for beauty pageants, modeling, and personality development. Under the visionary leadership of its founder, Preeti Vashisht, Gleamdiva stands tall among India’s elite runway and modeling institutes.
The three-day event was a culmination of three months of rigorous preparation by the contestants, guided by a team of dedicated mentors and coaches from the Gleamdiva Academy. The grand finale was marked by a stellar fashion show by Gleamdiva, with transparent judging overseen by an esteemed panel of judges. The judging panel included luminaries like Dr. Madhu Chopra, founder of Studio Aesthetic, Dr. Neetika Modi, author Ami Ganatra, MTV supermodel Roshni Dada, and Miss India Planet 2022 Kaziah Liz Mejo.
On winning, Tasneem Riyaz reflected, “This has been a dream come true! This journey has taught me that one of the biggest hurdles we face in life is ourselves. The first step to accomplishing anything begins with believing in yourself. Chase your dreams today. No one can be you, but you. With a vision for the future, Tasneem plans to utilize her newfound platform to mentor and train women, empowering them to rediscover and challenge themselves, and to chase after their dreams. Additionally, she’s passionate about environmental conservation and wishes to raise awareness about preserving our planet for future generations.
