Abdul Moyeed Khan started playing volleyball at a very young age and was immediately recognized for his talent and potential. He won several gold medals at the district level tournaments and also secured a bronze medal at the Cluster level tournament. His performances caught the attention of the selectors and he was soon drafted into the state team. He represented Uttar Pradesh in several national level tournaments and won a silver medal in the open league in the event of 400M with a timing of 50.48sec. He also won a bronze medal in the open state championship in the event of 100M with a timing of 11.39sec.
Apart from being an outstanding athlete, Abdul Moyeed Khan is also an active leader in various extracurricular activities. He has served as a NCC cadet from 45battalion Gorakhpur and has also attended the Beating Retreat ceremony at Attari Wagha Indo-Pak border.

He was a part of the Beating Retreat ceremony at Attari Wagha Indo-Pak border. It was an amazing experience. Abdul got to see the soldiers from both countries marching and then the ceremony started. He was surprised to see how disciplined they were and how well they performed their duties. The whole atmosphere was very patriotic and he felt proud to be a part of it.
