Application Process and Fee Structure
Candidates interested in applying for the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor at Allahabad University can do so via the official website's career section at allduniv.ac.in. During the application, candidates are required to pay a fee of ₹2000, which is ₹1000 for SC/ST candidates and ₹100 for differently-abled applicants. Those who applied for these positions in 2021 need to pay ₹1000 (₹500 for SC/ST and ₹100 for differently-abled candidates) as fees.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants aspiring to join the teaching positions at Allahabad University are mandated to meet the criteria set by the University Grants Commission (UGC). For the role of Assistant Professor, candidates should possess a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) by UGC norms in the relevant subject. As per the UGC regulations of 2018, candidates holding a Ph.D. are exempt from the requirement of NET for Assistant Professor positions.
For the positions of Associate Professor and Professor, candidates should hold a Ph.D. in the relevant subject, along with a minimum of 8 years of teaching experience for Associate Professor and a minimum of 10 years for Professor positions.
