Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh, and Nushrat Bharucha starrer Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety have collected 6.42 crores at Domestic Box Office on the first day of its release. With the positive review and good word of mouth, the film has earned more than expected.
According to Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety takes a winning start. The film registered third highest opening day grosser film of 2018 after Padmavat and Padman.
Sonu’s Titu Sweety has performed better than last week release Aiyaary. Siddharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee’s film earned 3.36 crores on the first day. While the budget of Aiyaary is Rs 65 crores, the budget of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is between Rs 25-30 crores. On the other hand, Diljit Dosanjh, Sonakshi Sinha and Karan Johar starrer Welcome To New York has collected less than one crore on its first day.
This film has been directed by Pyaar Ka Punchnama Fame Director, Luv Ranjan and it is produced by T-Series and Luv Ranjan. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety also features Alok Nath and Virendra Saxena in a pivotal role.
