Akshay Kumar’s latest film Padman is doing a decent business at the domestic box office. The film collected 16.11 crores on Sunday (Day 3) at the box office. With three days total Akshay Kumar starrer now stands at 40.05 crores at the box office.

Padman, which is made on a budget of 20 crores, received good response from viewers and critics. Because of the strong storyline of the film and Akshay Kumar’s energetic acting, people also got awareness of sanitary napkins. Apart from Akshay, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor have played an important role in the film.
The film is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, Akshay Kumar played his role in the film. Padman is directed by R.Balki and produced by SPE Films India, KriArj Entertainment, Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions and Mrs Funnybones Movies.
