Mirzapur Box Office Collection Day 13: Film Inches Closer to ₹200 Crore Mark

Mirzapur The Movie continues its theatrical run in the second week, with the Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal starrer moving closer to the ₹200 crore India net milestone. However, weekday earnings have slowed as the film faces competition from Hanuman Ansh and other releases.

Mirzapur The Movie is continuing its run at the box office, although the pace has slowed considerably during the second week.

According to data cited by NDTV from trade tracker Sacnilk, the film earned around ₹2.30 crore net in India on Day 13 so far, taking its domestic net collection to approximately ₹198 crore. Its India gross collection was reported at around ₹235.85 crore.

The latest numbers put the film just a short distance away from the much-discussed ₹200 crore India net milestone.

However, the exact Day 13 figure can vary between box-office tracking sources. Hindustan Times later reported a higher Day 13 estimate of ₹3.04 crore, taking the domestic total to ₹198.74 crore, while other trackers have reported different figures as updates continue.

Second Week Brings a Noticeable Slowdown

The film had a powerful opening week, but its weekday numbers have naturally dropped after the second weekend.

Mirzapur The Movie opened in theatres on September 4 and recorded a strong first day. According to Sacnilk figures cited by NDTV Profit, the film collected ₹25.75 crore on Day 1, followed by ₹32 crore on Saturday and ₹36 crore on Sunday.

The film then maintained a healthy pace through the rest of its opening week.

By the end of seven days, its India net collection had reached approximately ₹148.45 crore according to the same tracking data.

The second weekend also provided a boost, with the film collecting ₹9.50 crore on Friday, ₹13.50 crore on Saturday and ₹13.25 crore on Sunday.

The picture changed once the second Monday arrived.

₹200 Crore Mark Is Now Very Close

The biggest immediate target for the film is the ₹200 crore India net milestone.

With the domestic total hovering around ₹198 crore after Day 13, Mirzapur The Movie needs only a small additional amount to cross the mark, depending on the final trade figure used.

The milestone would add another significant achievement to the theatrical journey of a film that began as an OTT franchise.

The movie's strong opening was largely driven by the popularity of the original Mirzapur series and the return of several familiar characters. The theatrical adaptation brought the franchise's established fan base to cinemas, creating considerable interest around its release.

Hanuman Ansh Adds to the Competition

One of the challenges facing Mirzapur The Movie in its second week is the continued presence of Hanuman Ansh.

The devotional drama has maintained a strong theatrical run and has been drawing audiences even several weeks after its initial release. NDTV reported that Hanuman Ansh had already crossed the ₹200 crore India net mark earlier in its run.

Its continued performance means that Mirzapur The Movie is not operating in an empty box-office landscape.

The competition becomes particularly relevant during weekdays, when audiences have a larger number of films to choose from and theatrical footfall generally declines compared with weekends.

The Film Still Has a Strong Fan Base

Despite the weekday slowdown, the film's overall performance remains driven by the popularity of the Mirzapur franchise.

Pankaj Tripathi returns as Kaleen Bhaiya, while Ali Fazal reprises his role as Guddu Pandit. Divyenndu is also back as Munna Tripathi, while Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal and other familiar actors are part of the cast.

The film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh, who was also associated with the original series. Puneet Krishna has written the story and screenplay.

Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment, the movie expands the world that audiences first discovered through the streaming series.

From OTT Favourite to Big-Screen Attraction

The box-office performance of Mirzapur The Movie is also significant because of its unusual journey.

Unlike a traditional theatrical franchise, Mirzapur first established itself through streaming. Its characters became popular over multiple seasons before the story was brought to cinemas.

That meant the film entered theatres with an already established audience.

The strong opening showed that the franchise's popularity could translate into theatrical footfall. The first week provided a substantial financial cushion, allowing the film to approach the ₹200 crore domestic mark despite the expected slowdown in its second week.

The performance could also encourage other successful streaming properties to explore theatrical spin-offs or feature-film adaptations.

What Happens After ₹200 Crore?

Once Mirzapur The Movie crosses ₹200 crore in India, attention will shift towards how much further it can travel.

The second-week collections will be crucial because the film is now operating with lower weekday occupancy than during its opening phase.

According to Bollywood Hungama's tracker, Day 13 was recording lower occupancy and collections than the previous day, although its figures are different from Sacnilk's estimates.

The upcoming weekend will therefore provide an important indication of how strongly the film can continue after its second-week dip.

For now, the ₹200 crore milestone remains the immediate box-office talking point.

Mirzapur The Movie Keeps Its Box-Office Journey Alive

After 13 days, Mirzapur The Movie remains firmly in the box-office conversation.

The film has already demonstrate.d the theatrical pull of its popular characters, while its second-week slowdown reflects the usual pattern seen after a strong opening and first weekend.

With the India net total approaching ₹200 crore, the next few days will determine how quickly the film crosses the milestone and how much additional business it can generate afterwards.

For a franchise that began its journey on streaming platforms, its theatrical run has given Mirzapur another major chapter — and the box-office numbers will continue to be closely watched as the film enters the latter part of its second week.
