Kesari First Day Box Office Collection: Anurag Singh’s period drama Kesari, which released on the festival of Holi, has managed to win people heart as it collected 21.06 crores on its opening day (Thursday) at the domestic box office.
Kesari overtaken Singh Is Bling (which earned Rs 20.67 crore on its first day) to become Akshay Kumar’s second-biggest opening film ever. The film also recorded the highest opening day of 2019.

Kesari is based on the true story of one of the bravest battles that India ever fought – the Battle of Saragarhi. Akshay essays the role of Havildar Ishar Singh in the action flick.
Akshay Kumar starrer film has received a decent response from the film critics. The film also stars Parineeti Chopra opposite Akshay Kumar. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production, Kesari helmed by debutant director Anurag Singh.
