The biographic film found many takers over the weekend and that’s the reason, it posted a very respectable score at the end of three days. Chhapaak collected Rs. 7.35 cr on Third Day (Sunday) at the domestic box office. Taking its total at Rs. 19.02 crore at the box office.

For a film made on a budget of 45 crore, these numbers are not well and weekdays will be crucial for the Chhapaak. Although as per Trade experts the film was supposed to earn Rs. 25-37crore over the first week.
Deepika Padukone starrer film has clashed with Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior. Apart from Deepika, Chhapaak also features Vikrant Messey in a key role.
