Batti Gul meter Chalu First Day Box Office Collection: Shahid Kapoor recent released film Batti Gul meter Chalu starts decent at the Indian box office. Battu Gul Meter Chalu collected 6.76 crores on the first day at the domestic Box Office. Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha starrer film had earned on the same lines as their 2014's Haider which had collected 6.14 crores despite the clash with Hrithik and Katrina starrer Bang Bang. Earlier, the film expert was predicted that Shahid starrer film would take an opening in the range of 6 to 8 crores on the First day and the film exactly performs same as it collected 6.76 crores on its first day.

Manto and Stree Box Office Collection

Apart from Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Nawazuddin Siddique's Manto also released yesterday. The film takes the opening of around 50 lakhs. Shraddha Kapoor's last release Stree also performs strongly at the domestic box office. On its 4th Friday, Stree received 1.51 crores, thus taking its total of 114.18 crores.
