She shared how she initially felt delighted when people compared her to Katrina Kaif. “At the beginning, when people compared me to Katrina Kaif, I was very happy. It was a huge compliment for me,” Zareen said. However, she soon realized that this comparison had a substantial impact on her career.

Fear of Stepping Out Due to Comparisons

Zareen further explained, “The comparison with Katrina made me scared to step out of my house.” She recalled how people judged her based on her appearance, especially when she was a bit overweight. “I was tagged as overweight. I was double or triple my size at that time. So, I decided to stay at home because I couldn’t handle the constant scrutiny,” she added.
