Salman Khan arrived at the Mount Mary voting booth in Mumbai amidst tight security measures. Dressed casually in a black cap, sunglasses, jeans, and a T-shirt, the actor looked effortlessly stylish. His appearance caused quite a stir, with fans and media eagerly awaiting his arrival. Videos and pictures of Salman at the polling station quickly went viral, showcasing his commitment to fulfilling his civic duty despite the risks involved.
The heightened security surrounding Salman was due to ongoing threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which had earlier warned the actor of potential harm. Many speculated that these threats might deter him from voting, but Salman proved his critics wrong by showing up to cast his valuable vote.
Salman Khan’s Family Joins in Civic Duty
Before Salman, his family members were also seen at the polling booth. His father, Salim Khan, mother Salma Khan, and brothers Arbaaz and Sohail Khan all participated in the elections, making it a family affair. Salman wasn’t the only star who made headlines for voting. Shah Rukh Khan, along with his wife Gauri Khan, son Aryan, and daughter Suhana, also arrived at the Mount Mary polling booth. This marked a significant moment as both megastars of Bollywood showcased their responsibility as citizens.
Interestingly, like Salman, Shah Rukh Khan has also faced recent threats. He received extortion calls and threats to his life, leading to the arrest of a suspect in Chhattisgarh. Despite these challenges, both stars made it a point to inspire others by leading through example.
Apart from his voting moment, Salman is making headlines for his upcoming film Sikandar, set to release next Eid. This highly anticipated movie will see him paired with South superstar Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. While Salman’s personal life has been in the spotlight lately, especially following the tragic murder of his close friend and politician Baba Siddique, his professional commitments continue to draw significant attention.
