Mardaani 2: Here's exclusive news! Actress Rani Mukerji, who last seen in Hichki, is all set to return as senior inspector Shivani Shivaji Roy. The actress announced her next film Mardaani 2 which will be a sequel of her hit film Mardaani. Mardaani, which released in 2014, featured Rani Mukerji as a senior inspector Shivani Shivaji Roy and Tahir Raj Bhasin.
Yash Raj Films took to Twitter to share the official announcement.
Rani was last seen in Hichki, which received positive word of mouth from the critics and audiences. And now the actress is all set to star in Mardaani 2. Mardaani 2 is set to go on floors next year. Produced by Yash Raj Films, The film will be helm by Gopi Puthran, and it will release in the second half of 2019.
