According to recent buzz, Simmba director Rohit Shetty has finalized Katrina Kaif as the female lead opposite Akshay Kumar in Sooryavanshi. Rohit wants to cast another actress but, it was Akshay who recommended Kaif’s name to the director.
According to reports, Akshay Kumar wants to do a film with Katrina Kaif for a long time, and that’s why he asks Rohit Shetty to rope her in Sooryavanshi.
Talking about Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar essays the role of ATS officer Sooryavanshi in the film which will be a part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. The action flick scheduled to release on Eid 2020 and clash with Salman Khan’s Inshallah.
Apart from Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar will be seen in films like Mission Mangal, Good News, Housefull 4 and the biopic of Prithvi Raj Chauhan. Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif will be seen in films like Bharat and Tiger Zinda Hai’s sequel.
