Chhapaak First Look Poster: Deepika Padukone, who last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama Padmaavat, is all set to return to the big screen with Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak. Deepika Padukone essays the role of an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
On Monday Morning, Deepika took to Twitter and revealed the first look of her character. She wrote, "A character that will stay with me forever…#Malti," With Chhapaak first look poster, Deepika also revealed the film release date. The film will release on January 10, 2020.
Chhapaak is based on the life acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Laxmi Agarwal, who is now a TV show host and a campaigner with Stop Acid Attacks.
The biographical film also stars Vikrant Massey. The film directed by Meghna Gulzar and bankrolled by Deepika Padukone and Gulzar. The film is scheduled to release on 10th January 2020.
