The actress has signed up for an action-comedy film opposite Shahid Kapoor, as reported by Peeping Moon. The film will be directed by veteran comedy filmmaker Anees Bazmee and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Dil Raju. Rashmika Mandanna has acted in a few Hindi films and is set to appear in a few more.

According to a source, Ekta Kapoor and Dil Raju, the producers of the upcoming action comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee, believed that Rashmika Mandanna was the perfect choice for the role of the quirky heroine in the movie. The source added that the producers had previously worked with Rashmika in the films Goodbye and Varisu, and felt that she was a natural fit for the character. Additionally, the source noted that Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika's pairing had generated excitement among audiences as they make for a fresh and captivating on-screen duo.

Rashmika Mandanna has also signed two more Hindi movies in addition to Anees Bazmee's upcoming project. One of them is Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol. Another rumored project is Dinesh Vijan's historical drama Chhava, where she might star alongside Vicky Kaushal.
