Akshay Kumar will play the role of Prithviraj Chauhan in Yash Raj’s Next

Akshay Kumar has bagged many big-budget projects such as Gold, 2.0, Kesari, Houseful 4. And now one more project added to this list. As per reports, the actor signs yet another historical drama film after Kesari. The untitled project produced by Yash Raj Films. Akshay Kumar and Yash Raj Films have been talking to work together for quite some time. Akshay Kumar will play the role of Prithviraj Chauhan in the film. The film will be directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi. According to the report, the film likely to go on floors around the mid-next year, after Akshay finishes Hera Pheri 3. Akshay Kumar last worked with Yash Raj films in Tashan, which was released in 2008. Akshay's next sports drama film Gold is set to release on this independence day. Gold movie trailer release on June 25. Apart from Gold, Akshay is currently shooting for Kesari, which is also a period drama film based on Battle of Saragarhi. After Kesari, Akshay will soon start shooting for Housefull 4.
