Akshay Kumar Announces Release Date for Mission Mangal: The film will now clash with Batla House

Mission Mangal vs Batla House: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is gearing up for his most awaited upcoming sci-fi flick 2.0, has recently announced his next film Mission Mangal.

Akshay Kumar took to his social media accounts and shared the released date of Mission Mangal. The film will release on 15th August 2019.  Akshay Kumar wrote on Twitter, “A powerful true story of ordinary people with extraordinary dreams, on an unheard of a mission to achieve the impossible. #MissionMangal will come alive on 15th August 2019. See you at the theaters.”

Akshay Kumar’s close friend John Abraham also scheduled his next action-thriller Batla House on the same date (15th August 2019)  to release. so it will be Akshay Kumar versus John Abraham at the box office once again, after the clash between Gold and Satyameva Jayate this year.

While Akshay’s Mission Mangal is a space movie, John’s Batla House is based on the 2008 Batla House encounter. Apart from this, Mission Mangal and Batla House will also have another clash with Made In China starring Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy.

Mission Mangal also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Sharman Joshi, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen and Kirti Kulhari and it will be directed by Jagan Shakti.
