Aankhen 2: Sushant Singh Rajput and Kartik Aaryan to star for Amitabh Bachchan’s Aankhen 2

Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal’s hit movie Aankhen, which was released in 2002, is once again in the headlines. The film’s sequel titled Aankhen 2 was announced in August 2016 with Gaurang Doshi as the producer. However, a massive legal battle regarding the film rights shelved the film.

And now, the legal battle is ended, and the film will now be produced by Rajatru Studios Limited, who has won a legal battle against Gaurang Doshi.

According to the reports, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kartik Aaryan are in the talks as lead actors along with Amitabh Bachchan, who reprise his role in the film. Both actors, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kartik Aaryan have given their nod to the project.

In 2016, Gaurang announced the sequel of Aankhen with Big B, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Arshad and south actress Regina Cassandra. However, after the legal controversy, the film did not go ahead.

Earlier, Arjun Rampal and Abhishek Bachchan’s name are also in the talks. However, if the latest news is to be believed, then Amitabh Bachchan, Sushant Singh Rajput, and Kartik Aryan are in the final stages. It will be interesting to see Sushant and Karthik with Big B in Aankhen 2. The film released date not confirmed yet.
