Sana Makbul Opens Up About Liver Cirrhosis
Meanwhile, Sana Makbul also reportedly backed out of the show because of ongoing liver-related health complications. The Bigg Boss OTT winner recently revealed that she has been battling liver cirrhosis and had to prioritize recovery over work commitments.
During a recent interview, Sana clarified that many people wrongly assumed her illness was linked to alcohol consumption. However, she stated that she does not drink alcohol and was diagnosed during the early stages of the disease.
The actress further revealed that doctors found fluid accumulation in her stomach and warned that she might require a liver transplant if her condition did not improve within six months. Despite reportedly completing paperwork and discussions for Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, Sana eventually decided not to participate because of her health.
