Veere Di Wedding Movie Review: Shashanka Ghosh’s film Veere di Wedding Movie has knocked on theaters on June 1. The film stars Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania.
Story
The film story revolves around four girls, Kalindi (Kareena Kapoor Khan), Avni (Sonam Kapoor), Sakshi (Swara Bhaskar) and Meera Sood (Shikha Talsania). These four girls are quite convinced about the concept of marriage. Rishabh (Sumit Vyas) proposes Kalindi for marriage, but she is not sure whether the wedding is right for her or not and she confusedly says yes. Avani wants to marry, but she does not get a perfect partner. Mira married a foreigner against her Sikh family. Sakshi is getting divorced from her husband. When these four friends meet together for the marriage of Kalindi, a lot of stories come out, and what happens next is no less than a disaster.
Acting
Kareena Kapoor Khan remained on the screen for most of the time. It would not be wrong to say that Kareena got the perfect opportunity to show her character on the screen. And Kareena Kapoor did a complete concert with the character (Kalindi), which would be very interesting to the audience. Sonam Kapoor, Ahuja Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha have also played their role well.
Verdict
The chemistry of four girls is the greatest strength of the film. There are some hilarious dialogues that bring a smile and startle you. Many scenes of the movie also make you feel happy, but there is a part of the film that could have been better. The film should show the character’s lives in a little more detail so that the audience can feel them. Viewers understand the problems of these characters, but they wouldn’t be able to add to themselves into the soul of characters. If there was a little more work on the script, then the film could become insane.
