Mulk Movie Review and Rating
Story
Mulk reveals the story of Murad Ali Mohammed (Rishi Kapoor) and his family, who lives in Banaras. Murad Ali Mohammed’s nephew Shahid Mohammed (Pratik Babbar) gets involved in terrorist activities. His actions dragged the whole family into the court and found themselves to prove their patriotism. Murad Ali’s daughter-in-law, Aarti Malhotra (Tapi Pannu), who is married to Shahid’s elder brother, fought a case in court for the honor of the family. In the court, Aarti faces the well-known lawyer Santosh Anand (Ashutosh Rana). There are many fluctuations in the story, and ultimately it ends on a note which is very interesting.
Acting
Rishi Kapoor played a completely different role, once again he proves that he is brilliant at what he does. Tapasi Pannu once again proved why he is considered to be one of the finest actors of Bollywood. The presence of strong performers like Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Nina Gupta, Atul Tiwari, Rajat Kapoor and Prachi Shah takes the film to a different level.
Verdict
Mulk is a solid hard-hitting and topical content-driven film. Powerful dialogues, strong performances by star-cast & climax makes it a must watch. It’s a fantastic film by Anubhav Sinha.
