Disappoints
Director Abhishek Kapoor fails to add enough intensity to this love story. The film writing is awkward and the result unmerited, and everything feels like a drag at the two-hour runtime. The movie plot and direction disappoints you.

Story
Kedarnath story starts with Mandakini aka Mukku (Sara Ali Khan), the daughter of a Hindu Pandit, falls in love with a Muslim porter Mansoor (Sushant Singh Rajput), who carries the pilgrims on the shoulder. Mandakini’s family disagrees with her relationship. The interfaith love between Mukku and Mansoor of different religion forms the heart of the story, but destiny will differently, and no one expects the other life-changing event, which takes this holy place by storm.
Acting
The thing which most impresses you after seeing the movie is Sara Ali Khan. She looks gorgeous in the film, and her performance reminds you of Amrita Singh. Sushant Singh Rajput too has worked hard in this whole film. He does complete justice to his character.
Verdict
Director Abhishek Kapoor fails to add enough intensity to this love story. The film writing is awkward and the result unmerited, and everything feels like a drag at the two-hour runtime. The movie plot and direction disappoints you. The only good part of Kedarnath is debutante Sara Ali Khan. If you like to watch Sara on the big screen than go for it, otherwise skip it. Bollywood Mascot gives 2.5 stars out of 5 to Kedarnath.
