Apple’s latest flagship smartphones have officially gone on sale in India, and the new iPhone 18 Pro series has already caught the attention of Bollywood celebrities. From Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh to Neha Dhupia and Karishma Tanna, several stars have been spotted showcasing the new iPhone models on social media.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max went on sale in India on September 18, following pre-orders that began on September 12. Riteish Deshmukh shows off his new iPhone
Riteish Deshmukh appears to be among the Bollywood stars who have already upgraded to Apple’s latest Pro lineup. The actor shared a post on social media showing the new iPhone 18 Pro Max in the Glacier Blue finish.
Adding a playful touch to his post, Riteish captioned the picture with a reference to the colour, writing, “Mere wala blue.” The post quickly became part of the online conversation surrounding the new iPhone series.
The Glacier Blue finish is one of four colours offered with the new Pro models, alongside Black, Silver and Burgundy.

The deep Burgundy shade has emerged as one of the more noticeable colour choices this year, with several celebrities also sharing pictures featuring the same variant. Neha Dhupia and Karishma Tanna are among the other names mentioned in connection with the Burgundy iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Genelia’s post comes shortly after the Deshmukh family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. She and Riteish were recently seen celebrating the festival with their family, sharing glimpses of their traditional festivities and time with Bappa.

Earlier this month, rapper AP Dhillon and actor Triptii Dimri attended an Apple event and met Apple CEO John Ternus. Both were photographed with the new iPhone models during their visit to Apple Park.

Their appearance gave Bollywood and the Indian entertainment industry an early look at the new devices before they became available to consumers in the country.

Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro lineup comes with several hardware and software upgrades. Apple says the new models feature a 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture, giving users greater control over photography.
Both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are powered by the A20 Pro chip and feature a next-generation vapour chamber designed to improve sustained performance. The Pro models also come with iOS 27 and new Apple Intelligence capabilities.

The new devices also occupy the premium end of the smartphone market. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900 for the 256GB version, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max begins at ₹1,79,900 for 256GB storage.
The Pro Max is also available in higher storage configurations, with the 2TB variant priced at ₹3,29,900. The devices are offered in Black, Silver, Glacier and Burgundy finishes.
The first-day launch has already generated substantial consumer interest. In several cities, buyers were seen waiting outside Apple Stores overnight or arriving in the early hours of the morning. One customer travelled from Punjab to Noida and reportedly waited in line before purchasing two iPhone 18 Pro Max units.

With celebrities such as Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh sharing their new iPhones online, the launch has also become a talking point in Bollywood circles.
