The upcoming mythological film Mahakavya Shri Ramayan Katha – Shri Ram Ki has received another major spotlight ahead of its theatrical release. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini unveiled the film’s poster, bringing attention to the upcoming Ramayana adaptation starring Anjali Arora and Dev Sharma in the lead roles.

Speaking about playing Sita, Anjali has described the character as representing strength, dignity, patience and faith. She also said that portraying the revered figure came with a strong sense of responsibility and required her to approach the role with respect and sincerity.

Dev Sharma has similarly spoken about the responsibility of portraying Shri Ram, noting that the character carries the faith and emotions of millions of people. He said he approached the role with sincerity while trying to understand the qualities associated with Lord Ram, including compassion, patience and maryada.

Film Focuses on Love, Faith and Sacrifice

Rather than presenting the Ramayana only through its large-scale battles and dramatic moments, the makers have indicated that the film will also focus on the emotional relationship between Ram and Sita.

The teaser gives glimpses of their marriage, their journey into exile and the events that eventually lead to Sita’s separation from Ram. The makers have described the story through themes such as love, devotion, sacrifice, duty and dharma.

Director Abhishek Singh has said that although the Ramayana contains elements of courage, family, devotion and the battle between dharma and adharma, its core is also deeply human. The filmmakers want the story to connect with audiences through these emotional and timeless values.

Strong Supporting Cast

Alongside Anjali Arora and Dev Sharma, the film features several actors in important mythological roles. Sheel Verma plays Lakshman, while Nirbhay Wadhwa appears as Hanuman and Rajniesh Duggal plays Ravan.

The film’s music is also expected to be an important part of its presentation. The album features voices including Kailash Kher, Javed Ali, Shaan, Anup Jalota, Shahid Mallya, Vaishali Samant and Krishna Beura.

Prakash Mahobiya Produces the Film

Mahakavya Shri Ramayan Katha – Shri Ram Ki is produced by Prakash Mahobiya and Sanjay Bundela under Mahobiya Films Production Pvt. Ltd. The film is presented by A J Film’s Entertainment World, headed by Ajay Kanojiya.

With its new poster launch and a cast led by Anjali Arora and Dev Sharma, Mahakavya Shri Ramayan Katha is now building momentum ahead of its theatrical debut.
