Bollywood actress Yami Gautam Dhar visited Ayodhya ahead of the release of her upcoming film Nayyi Navelli, seeking blessings at the Ram Mandir before the movie reaches cinemas. The actress's visit on October 14, 2026, has attracted attention as she prepares for one of her latest theatrical releases.
Dressed in an elegant yellow saree, Yami was seen embracing a traditional look during her visit to the sacred city. Photographs from her trip show the actress at religious sites, where she offered prayers ahead of the film's release.
Ayodhya holds deep religious significance for devotees of Lord Ram, making the visit a meaningful personal moment for the actress. Her trip also comes just ahead of Dussehra, a festival associated with the victory of good over evil.
For Yami, the visit provided an opportunity to seek blessings before presenting her latest work to audiences. It has also brought additional attention to Nayyi Navelli, which is scheduled to arrive in theatres on October 16.
Yami Gautam Also Visits Ram Ki Paidi and Hanuman Garhi
Apart from visiting the Ram Mandir, Yami also visited Ram Ki Paidi and Hanuman Garhi during her time in Ayodhya.
These locations are among the city's prominent religious destinations. Ram Ki Paidi is a series of ghats along the Saryu River, while Hanuman Garhi is a well-known temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman.
Her visit to these places added another dimension to the spiritual trip. The photographs have drawn interest from fans who follow the actress's professional activities as well as her public appearances.
Yami's traditional attire also became a talking point, with her yellow saree reflecting a simple, festive style suitable for a visit to the holy city.
Celebrity visits to religious destinations before film releases are not uncommon in India, where faith and personal traditions often accompany important professional milestones. Yami's visit reflects that familiar practice without taking attention away from the film she is preparing to bring to audiences.
