Vettaiyan: Rajinikanth's Action-Packed Thriller to Hit Theaters in October

Fans of Rajinikanth and Suriya are buzzing with excitement as their upcoming films, 'Vettaiyan' and 'Kanguva,' are generating a lot of hype. Ever since the posters of these films were released, the anticipation has only increased. Recently, the release date for 'Kanguva' was announced, and now, on Monday, the release date for 'Vettaiyan' has also been revealed. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, 'Vettaiyan' is one of the most awaited films, and fans of superstar Rajinikanth have been eagerly waiting for its release. As a special treat for fans on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the makers have announced that the film will hit theaters in two months.

'Vettaiyan' Release Date Announced

Rajinikanth's film 'Vettaiyan' is set to be released in theaters on October 10, 2024. This movie will be available in four languages: Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. On August 19, Lyca Productions made the official announcement, releasing a new poster of Rajinikanth with the caption, "Target locked. 'Vettaiyan' is set to hunt in cinemas worldwide from October 10th, 2024! Superstar as Supercop! Releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi & Kannada!"

A Clash of Titans at the Box Office

Interestingly, 'Vettaiyan' will face off against Suriya’s 'Kanguva' in theaters. This clash is expected to be a major event as both films are among the most prestigious releases in Tamil cinema for 2024. A few days ago, the makers of 'Kanguva' had also confirmed that the film would release on October 10, setting the stage for an epic box office battle.

Rajinikanth as a Cop

In 'Vettaiyan,' Rajinikanth will be seen portraying the role of a police officer. The film, directed by TJ Gnanavel, boasts a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film features music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by SR Kathir, and editing by Philomin Raj.
