Triptii Dimri Opens Up About Emotional Turmoil After Animal Intemate Scene
Actress Triptii Dimri has recently gained significant attention for her role in the film Animal, where her bold performance marked a turning point in her career. Following the film’s release, Dimri found herself in the spotlight not only for her acting but also for facing intense criticism, leading to a challenging emotional period.
In an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Dimri shared her journey from her debut in Poster Boys in 2017 to becoming a household name after her cameo in Animal. Her character, Zoya, captured audiences’ hearts, but it also subjected her to harsh online trolling. “After Animal was released, I locked myself in my room and cried for two to three days,” she revealed, highlighting the emotional toll of negative comments.
The actress explained that some of the comments she received were particularly harsh, making her question herself and her journey. “I was devastated by what people were saying. Some comments were extremely disrespectful,” she admitted.
Fortunately, Dimri found solace and support from her sister, who reminded her of the hard work and dedication that led to her success. Her sister encouraged her to take ownership of her journey, helping Triptii shift her perspective on the criticism. “Sometimes crying becomes a process that helps you cope with trauma. After that, I began to feel better from within,” she explained.
Triptii Dimri is set to appear alongside Rajkummar Rao in the upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, which is scheduled for release on October 11. As she prepares for this new venture, she remains focused on her craft and is learning to navigate the highs and lows of fame.
