As the Abhishek Bachchan film The Big Bull is ready to release tomorrow, it certainly has a good buzz around it. The delay in the release of the film was due to a similar sort of web series launched earlier on the OTT platform. Now, the makers find it safer to release as it remains the most awaited one on the digital platform. This year we have seen some straight to digital platform releases like Pagglait, The Girl on The Train and many more as compared to the theatrical releases like Saina and other films, the ones releasing on the digital platforms had a decent buzz around.
On the same day, we have another film releasing on one of the OTT platforms called Mohanlal’s Malayalam film Drishyam 2, which makes the competition stiff on the digital platforms. When comparing the two, we see the Junior Bachchan starrer film The Big Bull will have an edge over the sequel. In fact, the experts feel that it will have a better and bigger release when compared to the films like Ludo and The Girl on the Train. The film has some big names involved in it including Ajay Devgn as its producer while Kookie Gulati is the director of the film.
On the other hand the sequel called Drishyam 2 too also has a good hype around it. However, the film being in Malayalam is only going to attract the audience from South India. Thus comparing this regional film with The Big Bull, one can find the latter to have a pan India level attraction, which the former lacks for the obvious reasons. So, looking at the current buzz, the prediction for The Big Bull film will be always on the higher side.
