Kareena Kapoor Khan has opened up about one of the most difficult experiences her family went through following the January 2025 attack on Saif Ali Khan. In a recent conversation with journalist Barkha Dutt on her YouTube channel Mojo Story, Kareena revealed that their elder son, Taimur, encouraged Saif to forgive the man accused of attacking him.
According to Kareena, Taimur's reaction came after the family was told about the alleged reason the intruder had given for seeking money. She said they were informed that the man had reportedly been looking for ₹1 crore because he wanted to send the money to his mother for surgery.
Kareena said that after hearing this, Taimur told his father, “Abba, forgive him.” Saif, she added, also shared the view that the accused should be forgiven.

Reflecting on the incident, Kareena said the family had never imagined that something like this could happen to them. She explained that ideas of justice can differ from person to person and revealed that both Saif and Taimur believed in forgiving the accused.

According to Kareena's account, a police officer had told the family that the accused was looking for money and had allegedly told the household nanny that he needed ₹1 crore for his mother's surgery.
