Actress Soni Razdan has shared an emotional memory of legendary singer Asha Bhosle, recalling how an unexpected connection developed between them during the final years of the singer's life. Razdan said their bond emerged suddenly, even though they had not been particularly close earlier.

The actress was speaking about Bhosle's final playback song, ‘Ae Meri Zindagi, Tu Chhipi Hai Kahan’, from the upcoming film Om Ka Hari. The song was recorded when Bhosle was 90 and was released on September 8, coinciding with her 93rd birth anniversary.

Looking back at their relationship, Soni Razdan said she could not explain exactly how their sudden bond developed. She recalled meeting Bhosle at some point and being surprised by the warmth and connection that followed.
Razdan also remembered a song from a Kalpana Lajmi film that she had danced to years ago and which had been sung by Bhosle. At that time, the two did not share a close relationship, making their later connection all the more unexpected.
‘We Never Got the Chance to Meet Again’
According to Razdan, Bhosle appeared interested in meeting her more often, but their busy schedules prevented them from spending time together. Attempts to reconnect through a mutual friend also did not work out.
The actress admitted that she was saddened that their relationship could not develop further. For her, the bond was genuine even though it remained brief.
