Singham Again Set to Create a Stir This Diwali with Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty

Directed by Rohit Shetty, the latest installment in the Singham franchise has begun its promotional campaign, recently releasing its first song to excite fans. One of the most iconic dialogues from the franchise, “Aata Majhi Satakli,” has garnered significant attention, and both Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty shared insights about its origin.

When Singham first hit theaters in 2011, few could have predicted that it would become an emotional touchstone for audiences. The success continued with Singham Returns in 2014, and now, nearly a decade later, Singham Again is poised for release, promising to captivate fans once more.

In recent promotional events in Mumbai, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn discussed the film, revealing that it draws thematic connections from the Ramayana. The cast this time includes notable names like Kareena Kapoor, alongside Devgn. Shetty emphasized the significance of “Aata Majhi Satakli,” which has become one of the most memorable lines from the franchise, delivered by Ajay Devgn’s character.

When asked if he anticipated that the dialogue would become iconic, Rohit Shetty explained, “We wrote the dialogues for the characters—Singham and the villain, Jaykant Shikre, with a Maharashtrian flair. We never imagined that this line would resonate so much with the audience.” He noted that it was originally meant to be just a single impactful line, delivered once, contrasting with the villain’s repetitive lines.

Ajay Devgn echoed Shetty’s sentiments, adding that it was merely one of many lines. “In rehearsals, we saw it as just a line. It’s unpredictable which dialogue will go viral,” he said, highlighting the spontaneity of the film industry.

Singham Again boasts an impressive lineup, featuring Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff as part of the new cast. Arjun Kapoor will play the villain, adding to the film’s appeal. Additionally, fans can expect powerful scenes with beloved characters played by Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar, enhancing the film’s crossover potential within Shetty’s Cop Universe.
