According to the actor, the idea of a perfect or flawless marriage often leads to disappointment. He believes that in a marriage, couples are not always on the same path but need to move forward together, acknowledging the natural ups and downs. Shahid and his wife, Mira Rajput, are often regarded as one of Bollywood's most ideal couples, having enjoyed a happy marriage for over nine years. Despite the public admiration for their relationship, Shahid shared that he believes in providing space and privacy for each other. In his own marriage, he believes it is crucial to support one another, especially during tough times.
