Salman Khan Residence Attack: Three Arrested, Case Transferred to Crime Branch
In a significant development following the recent gunfire incident at Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment, the case has been transferred to the Mumbai Crime Branch. Three individuals have been detained in connection with the attack, believed to have assisted the shooters on a local level.

Incident Details
The incident occurred around 5 am when assailants fired five shots from a motorcycle outside Salman Khan’s residence. Two bullets hit the walls of Galaxy Apartment, while the remaining three were fired on the road. Following the attack, the assailants fled the scene.
Arrest and Investigation
According to sources, the three detainees are local supporters who aided the shooters by providing information about the security arrangements around the apartment. After the attack, the suspects were captured on CCTV cameras at various locations, assisting the police in their identification.
The Mumbai Crime Branch took swift action and detained the suspects from Vakola area in Santacruz. The investigation is ongoing, with the police examining CCTV footage to trace the assailants’ movements before and after the attack.
Increased Security Measures
In the wake of the attack, security has been tightened around Salman Khan’s residence, with police personnel deployed in large numbers. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has assured Khan of enhanced security measures and personally spoke to him regarding the incident.
Suspect Identified
One of the assailants involved in the attack has been identified as Vishal, alias Kalu, a resident of Gurugram, Haryana. Vishal was previously involved in the murder of a scrap dealer, Sachin, in Rohtak on the instructions of gangster Rohit Godara. He is believed to be working for Godara, who is currently based overseas.
Support from Political and Entertainment Circles
Following the incident, several prominent figures, including politician Baba Siddique, MNS Chief Raj Thackeray, Salman’s brothers Arbaaz and Sohail Khan, nephew Arhaan Khan, and close friend Rahul Kanal, visited Salman Khan at his residence to inquire about his well-being. Additionally, senior officials have also visited the actor’s residence to assess the security arrangements.
The attack on Salman Khan’s residence has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, raising concerns about celebrity security in Mumbai. With the case now transferred to the Crime Branch and arrests being made, the investigation is expected to reveal more details about the motives and individuals behind the attack.
