The film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and is inspired by the events of June 15, 2020, when Indian and Chinese troops clashed in the Galwan Valley along the Line of Actual Control.
The real-life confrontation resulted in the deaths of 20 Indian soldiers and became a major point of tension between India and China.
Alongside Salman, Chitrangda Singh is part of the principal cast, with Abhilash Chaudhary and Ankur Bhatia also appearing in important roles. Himesh Reshammiya is composing the music.
From Battle of Galwan to Maatrubhumi
